PLUMSTED — Undeterred by downpours, dozens of soaked volunteers and two wet llamas hauled out 36 bags of trash from the Colliers Mill Wildlife Management Area last week as part of Barnegat Bay Blitz watershed cleanup.

Police released the names on Friday of the two people who died in a motorcycle-car crash Thursday.

The city of Zanesville and AFSCME Local 1573 have agreed to a new labor pact. On Friday the union voted 31 to 28 in favor of the contract. Mayor Jeff Tilton said only two-thirds of the eligible employees placed a vote.
